Spanish for "hen party", and extremely popular on Saturday nights in Madrid. Tonight, during my random wanderings, I encountered three, and had some drunken señorita flash me her boobies from a limousine.
By reputation, hen parties are now more boisterous than stag parties, throughout Europe. I am reliably informed that the town of Kilkenny has banned hen parties in perpetuity, after a particularly notorious night of debauchery some years back, in which squads of Gárdaí had to be summoned in from neighboring towns to quell the ongoing raucousness.

But I mean, seriously (sort of), how do you go about banning such events? Do the Filth have an infra-red oestrogen detector and, upon noting a gathering of more than 10 females and a whiff of knees up in the breeze-up, wade in there with bilby-clubs and scatter 'em?
Back to the Antipodes, I haven't noticed that hen parties are any worse than wot the blokes do. In fact the naked drunk handcuffed to a traffic light pole in the wee hours of Saturday morning is far more likely to be male.
